Atlantic County
- Atlantic CityAtlantic City's housing stock ranges from pre-war rowhomes in Chelsea Heights and Ducktown to high-rise condo towers along the boardwalk and marina district. - Egg Harbor TownshipEgg Harbor Township is one of the largest mainland municipalities in Atlantic County, made up of sprawling residential developments built from the 1980s through today alongside older sections near the White Horse Pike. - LinwoodLinwood is a quiet, tree-lined residential community along the Patcong Creek and bay, known for larger single-family homes and a mix of mid-century houses and newer construction. - Ventnor CityVentnor City is packed with charming duplexes and bungalows dating back to the 1920s, many built close together on narrow lots just steps from the beach and boardwalk. - AbseconAbsecon is a working, year-round mainland community bordering the marshes that separate it from Atlantic City, with a housing mix of older downtown homes and newer developments further from the bay. Its position along Route 30 and the bay marshes means some properties deal with drainage and humidity issues tied to the surrounding wetlands.
- HammontonKnown as the Blueberry Capital of the World, Hammonton sits inland among South Jersey's farm country, with a historic downtown of older brick and frame buildings surrounded by residential streets and larger rural properties. Homes here range from tightly built downtown houses to farmhouses on acreage outside town.
Cape May County
- Ocean CityOcean City's housing stock blends condo buildings near the boardwalk with single-family homes and duplexes spread across its residential blocks, many built up over decades of family ownership. As a dry town with a strong family-vacation identity, the island sees an enormous seasonal population swing that puts real pressure on rental-ready housing every spring.
- Sea Isle CitySea Isle City runs on its summer rental economy, with a dense mix of duplexes, condos, and single-family homes packed into a narrow barrier island footprint. Weekly rental turnover during the summer months means many homes need fast attention to locks, appliances, and minor repairs between guest stays.
- AvalonAvalon is known for its well-maintained, higher-end beach homes, many of which are second homes used seasonally rather than full-time residences. That means houses sit vacant for stretches of the year, making pre-season inspections and readiness repairs especially important before owners or renters arrive.
- Stone HarborStone Harbor shares Avalon's quieter, upscale character, with well-kept beach homes and bayfront properties that see heavy use in summer and long stretches of vacancy the rest of the year. That seasonal rhythm makes pre-season and off-season maintenance visits especially valuable for catching problems early.
- WildwoodWildwood is home to a dense concentration of mid-century motels, guesthouses, and rental units near its famous boardwalk, alongside residential streets further from the beach. - North WildwoodNorth Wildwood combines beachfront rental properties near the boardwalk with quieter residential streets closer to the seawall and inlet.
